Off Gas Project

KBC has successfully installed and commissioned an off gas recovery project in the year 2019. The off gas recovery project diverts the off gas from process units viz. ADU (Atmospheric Distillation Unit) and VDU (Vacuum Distillation Unit) to the furnace which results in reduced energy consumption and cleaner combustion of flare gases.

Since the project was commissioned, the average NG saving is around 65 MMbtu/day or 3T/day reduction in CO2 emission. This project is a stellar example of KBC's commitment towards a clean and sustainable business.
