Incorporated in Malaysia on 21 April 2003, Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd (KBC) is owned by Tipco Asphalt Public Company Limited (Thailand).

Located at Telok Kalong Industrial Area, Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia, KBC’s bitumen refinery will produce and trade petroleum and petrochemical products such as various grades of bitumen, Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO), Atmospheric Gas Oil (AGO), Kerosene, Naphtha, and Fuel Oil.

With target production of 800,000 – 1,000,000 tons of bitumen per annum, KBC will become a key bitumen player in the region and address current shortfall of bitumen supply.

Through its partners, KBC has the benefit of access to the latest technology on bitumen, bituminous-products and its applications in road construction and maintenance. KBC also has access to established markets in this region for its products.
